The SBMU Pediatric Respiratory Disease Research Center (PRDRC) was established in order to perform necessary research in chronic and acute pediatric respiratory diseases, pediatric respiratory emergencies, and hereditary diseases in children. 30 years of experience at the SBMU NRITLD (National Institute for Tuberculosis and Lung Disease), or Massih Daneshvari Hospital in pediatric respiratory diseases, and performing extensive researches in pediatric chronic and acute respiratory diseases, as well as in pediatric pulmonary congenital diseases, pediatric hereditary diseases, respiratory infections among children, allergy, and asthma, and also writing and publishing numerous Persian and English research articles, performing various research project have all contributed to establishing SBMU PRDRC in 2008 as an official body under SBMU NRITLD Center.
